Media Detox 1

If you are addicted to media, make a website. It will help you get off social media and focus on your own thing. Still probably isn't good, but it's better than getting addicted to the lowest form of a drug, it is also creative, and creation, production, are the things that make people happy. People that get obsessed with celebrities are practicing worthlessness. Even if it's some red/black-pilled influencer that debunks elites. It's just as bad as constantly watching Jim Carrey. I would argue that it is better to watch "Dumb and Dumber" than "The Matrix."

You are an LED. consumer, not even realizing that you are settling for a garbage substance. I get it; it's just some minor nuisance. No way it can actually harm you, it's not a big deal. Until you are blind and constantly having headaches. You take your brain, and instead of frying it with fulfillment, work, love, relationships, etc., you spend all that time saturating it with mini thrills that develop nothing within your character. You are not smarter. for watching a video on the social politics of family hierarchies, you just found someone that can articulate your misguided hate towards your parents, and make it seem like it is justified and, in a weird way, academic.

Just because someone else articulates a feeling/mood/idea you have always known and believed in, does not mean you have gained the skill points to understand it. You have lost a vital step in the acquiring of the independent thought. muscle.

Writing is better self help, than any therapist. You should all do it, and do it publicly if you are. not afraid. It may have the opportunity to be seen or help people. Dont let ideas sit in some limbo, veiled state, ready to be reaveald by others. Just start articulating things, dont let youre brain trick you into thinking you are gaining knowledge when you are not. Just start a journal.
